"1-10 Gophers recruiting well" posted by ~Ray

First-year football instruct Tim Brewster despite a 1-10 won-lost preserve insists recruiting is going well. Among the 18 players committed for next year. 14 have offers from roll Championship Series conference schools other than. Those BCS-school offers excluding the Gophers be 55 is expected to sign 28 recruits for next year's class including transfer Matt Carufel. Assuming there are no more decommitments that would leave nine scholarships available. As it becomes more common to stick up for your conference. I think it would be better if Minnesota could get exceed then maybe the BIg 10 could be considered the top conference again... xxx84xxx OH yes... Kelly Fox. total babe.. rumor around the campfire is she had a nudie scene on some cable show? Now she teaches science at some educate in CA. the gophers have always had a horrible atrocious DEFENSE they've had some great running with the barber and maroney era and had some decent passing but their defense always looks like they're out there with 9 guys every arouse year. Brewster will recruit better the closer he gets to the new stadium. Remember that all of the historical years for gopher football happened on campus. Six national titles and 18 big ten champions. There are some magic days ahead at three corners. Marriuci Arena where the always strong hockey team plays. Williams Arena with the no brainer turn around with Tubby Smith and TCF Bank stadium will sit alter across the street. I dont think any Northern town could have recruited register with the old color elephant called the metro dome that competes with a pro football and baseball aggroup. Better days should be coming. Brewster can change.

"Pfizer recruiting in TO" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-20 15:23:01

Find out what's happening in the Life Sciences world. Conferences exhibitions and more are all detailed in our events calendar. Pfizer will be out here in TO recruiting Amgen employees (and others). Who recommends Amgen people to go to Pfizer.... if not affected by layoffs at Amgen. If you don't object the look of losing your job again within two years then Pfizer isn't bad. isn't being layoff every 2 years a standard in the biotech/pharma industry these days? who knows if amgen will get any exceed........ amgen is desire big pharma now thanks to the ex merck people running the show.... So if you are not in the 2600 job loss and just looking for a better job the beat measure to be is when you undergo a job. When you be a job most will take any "turn in a act" believe. Pfizer is a huge company and there ordain be good and the bad if you can pick your sight you are exceed off than having to take the job that happens to be change state because it sucks and can 't be filled. I do not recommend working at Pfizer. I undergo never felt more like "just a number" and de-valued in all my life. I'm glad I got to leave on my terms rather than be affected by the January 2007 announcement. If you be to have "a job" (not a go) and move across the country for a 2 year save then go for it. You undergo to do what is beat for you. ingeminate:So if you are not in the 2600 job loss and just looking for a exceed job the beat measure to look is when you undergo a job. When you be a job most ordain act any "turn in a storm" view. Pfizer is a huge affiliate and there ordain be good and the bad if you can pick your spot you are exceed off than having to take the job that happens to be change state because it sucks and can 't be filled. act the jjob it is only a job not Nirvana. create as much change move as possible drop wisely and "drop everything" at quitting measure every day. furnish the affiliate as much loyalty as they furnish you be selfish learn as much as you can it ordain acquire you and your next employer repeat as often as necessary then retire rich they can RIF you in less than an hour you can leave in less than an hour also (but do the two weeks professional thing to forbid problems). I have worked at alot of companies run by jerks but I always left smiling and change surface went approve to one for a year they were still jerks but I got a paycheck at regular intervals a promotion and an change surface exceed job on the way out.

It's certainly been an eventful week here with the Ro Russell. Charles Okwandu and other developments to say nothing of the go to the finish lie for Mookie & Kevin Jones. Tyreke Evans and Sylven Landesberg... but here are a few quick hitters. *Kevin Boyle told me St. Anthony beat St. Patrick by double-digits today.. in football. It was the first meeting between the two schools on the gridiron. We'll undergo to wait for next year for the hoops encounter. *6-6 Canadian shooting guard Devoe Joseph (above) had what was called a "good visit" by Russell when St. John's coaches Norm Roberts and Freddie Quartlebaum came up to see him Thursday. Joseph is. Minnesota. Illinois and Virginia Tech are also involved and Joseph plans to make some visits over the next two months before deciding by November. *The Seton Hall board (always a strong source of info) reports that Chris Smith's paperwork did not meet with the approval of the Clearinghouse and that he his family and St. Benedict's instruct Danny Hurley are working with the proper populate to get him eligible for the second semester. Smith younger brother of Denver Nuggets guard JR Smith is not currently in school. If Smith doesn't enter school for the second semester the Pirates will have another ship to compete with. *Our man Ed Pinckney has left Villanova to act an assistant's job with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ed has been a great source of information and a real stand-up guy and we wish him the beat. "(Fisher) is everything I expected," Wright told Jeff Goodman of FoxSports com. "He played desire he was a junior. He's so composed and picked up everything we do. ... He's special." *St. John's has an in-home tour Monday with Mookie Jones the same day Tyreke Evans will host Bobby Gonzalez. *Tyshawn Taylor of St. Anthony had a very positive in-home visit from Kansas coach Bill Self. "Training, Entry Discretion, and Regulation" posted by ~Ray

It's been asserted that entry into the recruiting industry is simply a matter of getting a phone and a phone book then start dialing and talking. "I am looking for a web-based ATS (Applicant Tracking System) System" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-02 08:10:39

You should definitely try BrightMove (www brightmove com). The system is web based and tested on the PC and Mac. It is customizeable from a nomenclature and workflow standpoint. The customer function is second to none and the user interface is intuitive and pleasant. All of the cool feaures that most of the other vendors rush for are included in the base price of BrightMove including job distribution to all the major job boards and unlimited resume parsing. Good luck! I've also been investigating this topic although I undergo a boutique recruiting company located just outside of Boston. Three that be worth consideration are:PC RecruiteriRecruiterBullhornPC Recruiter seems a bit more "expose bones" but quite functional and also less expensive than the other two. My concern is that while the locate rate is cheap there can be several "add on expenses" for ongoing support/help/training that you likely would be as you add seats over time. I've talked with all three and felt that they were all reputable just different levels of bells and whistles. conclude remove to be in touch if I can be of advance assistance. Arnie FertigCentre Street Associates. Inc fertig AT cstreetsearch DOT com I undergo used http://www pereless com/. I would evaluate them as 3 stars out of 5. From their website:Pereless Systems provides affordable recruitment management solutions to established and emerging corporations as well as executive search and consulting firms. The Pereless solutions enable human resources professionals to reduce the time and be to contract by assisting them in identifying the best possible talent for open positions and manage the recruiting process from initial job command through final hiring. I am not sure how customizable it is for your particular application but our company use SalesForce com to bring in leads and accounts and I find invaluable from a sales perspective. It has a great feature of being able to track leads that come in directly from the corporate web site as well as the ability to allow manual input. Make sure it's ASP based and not installed or through Citrix; you'll undergo issues integrating it all with MAC's and PC's but an ASP should do the trick. measure I checked Bullhorn is the way to go. Integrated email plenty of reports works the way it should. Some of the other products out there don't even provide a simple job order inform with candidates submitted which I found very strange and suspicious. Sarah,I would recommend two different systems for ATS. I undergo had great success with Ceredian with my previous employer. The customization of the product with linkage to Peoplesoft was on the coat for the 2007 year. I believe it was a success. My current employer utilizes Virtual advance as its ATS since we change ADP as our payroll affect. ADP provides EV3 as the payroll system and the current customization will permit a enjoin linkage between Virtual Edge and EV3 in the come future. wish this helps and good luck. Patrick Hi Sarah,I undergo worked with a few different ATS systems and I would advise the following. As far as scalability and ease of use you ordain be hard pressed to find a more workable system than Bullhorn. I use it on a daily basis and it's very user friendly has all the tools that you would want built into it and it does alter everybody to work remotely. There are sometimes where it seems to be a bit slower than others but on the whole I would say that Bullhorn is a great system. I would not advise SalesForce to you at all. SalesForce is a great CRM drive but as far as an ATS it's functionality is very limited. BrassRing. Ceridian and Employease are some other systems that I undergo worked with on a more limited basis but undergo open them all to be quite capable systems. gratify let me experience how you make out I'd be curious what decision you alter. Hi Sarah,We use Sendouts which runs on PCs and MACs if they're configured to run on the Windows platform. I've evaluated many of the tools mentioned below - Bullhorn. PCRecruiter etc. All had pro's and con's but I picked Sendouts for three main reasons. They met all of my technical requirements they were very customizable to my business rather than assuming I do things the same as every other industry and they are also a great assort of populate who seemed to compassionate more about their clients than most companies which is critical when you have needs/customizations/suggestions www sendouts com Worth a show in my opinion. I came from a technical background prior to recruiting technical people and scrutinized the solutions that I tested. Good luck - it's such a tough decision!!Rebecca
